How long have you been in Girlguiding?

I started as a 7 year old Brownie and have been in Guiding ever since – including 56 years as a Leader. I have held many roles in the District, Division and County.

What does your role entail?

My roles include helping with GO and DBS queries when needed.  I also assist with adding missing qualifications as long as the request is supported with evidence.

What do you enjoy most in your role?

Being able to help with the many varied queries the leaders and commissions have with the systems.

Are there any stand out moments/any proud achievements?

I love seeing the girls in my Brownie unit having fun and gaining in confidence whilst they are with us. My  stand out moments are receiving my Queens Guide as a 15 year old and more recently being awarded the Laurel Award.
