Every year Girlguiding Bedfordshire county hold a rewards event with Crea tea and during the 2025 Event we recognised over 1000 years of service accrued by our fantastic volunteers.  The service accrued spanned 5 years to a truly remarkable 60 years, and we would like to acknowledge the full recipient list below

Congratulations to Caroline Dickeman and Sue Hunt for being presented with the Anglia Brooch for all their dedicated service across units, districts, Division and County roles. 

The County Awards team also had the pleasure of awarding the following special recognition awards 

Bedfordshire Youth Award was awarded to Anya Brewer and Megan Wykes. 

Thanks Badges were awarded to Tara Akenbrook, Rachael Taylor, Michelle Quince, Linda Evans, Melanie Hayes, Natalie Coles, Hayley Mardle, Sam Chisman and Casper Potter. 

The Girlguiding Hero Award was awarded to Zoe Swinburn and Liz Fulcher. 

The Bedfordshire Brooch was awarded to Christine Torrens, Julia Chetwynd, Carol Hart, Sue Jeans, Claire Westwood and Jo Ross. 

The Good Service Brooch was awarded to Bev Chidley.
